Singapore Fashion Week 2007 (SFF07) marks its 20th anniversary as Asia’s leading fashion event which will be held from 12th to 21st October 2007.

As part of Singapore Fashion Week 2007, Singapore will play host for this year's AFF meeting and seminars. The delegates from ten member countries will attend the council meeting and seminars during the SFW07. Asia Fashion Federation (AFF), which was founded by China, Korea and Japan will have Singapore as a new member of AFF.

To mark this significant event, SFW07 will showcase a series of comprehensive fashion-related trade shows featuring the latest designers’ collections, brands and labels from the region to sell to the world.

Trade Designer Showcase is bringing together established as well as up-and-coming international, regional and local brands / labels featuring the latest offerings under one roof for the Spring / Summer 2008 season.

Chairman of SFW07, Mr. Patrick Lee, mentioned Singapore Fashion Week with motto "The Gateway to Asia" is bring together the most established designers/labels and renowned international buyers to Singapore. And today Singapore Fashion Week is part of world's fashion calendar.

SFW07 offers designers exclusive business opportunities where Singapore is reckoned the next design force with, a strong alternative to the usual fashion capitals of Paris, London, Milan and New York.

Participants, designers and trade visitors can expect broad exposure within and beyond their industry circle and open gateways for more business opportunities. To further strengthen Singapore’s position as a regional fashion hub. This is the first step of this Federation to spearhead a new fashion influence, together with the rest of Asia.

SFF07 is organized by TaFf (Textile & Fashion Federation Singapore), supported by IE Singapore and SPRING.
