27th February, Bangkok - Bangkok International Fashion Week 2007 (BIFW) which known as biggest international fashion event in South East Asia, will be held at Siam Paragon's Parc Paragon . This is to encourage the fashion growth after the government discontinued the "Bangkok Fashion City".

Leading shopping mall operators including Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, The Emporium, and Siam Discovery Centre will be working together for the prestige event which budget is estimated over Bt50 million.

BIFW is also aimed at boosting the local fashion industry and promoting Bangkok as a fashion capital and regional fashion hub.

BIFW will feature 13 brands including ANR, Flynow, Greyhound by Nokia, Inspired by Inner Complexity, Kai, Nude Colours by L'Oreal Profession, Theatre, Time's End, Tippy & Matthew, Tube Gallery, Yosawadee, Dress Code, and FASH.

Other big names will be main sponsors for international fashion week including Nation Group, Harpers' Bazaar, Nokia, L'Oreal and Kasikorn Bank, and Muang Thai Life insurance.

International designers such as Jimmy Choo from London, Hong Kong's Dorian Ho, and Malaysia's Khoon Hooi will showcase their collections.

International press, buyers and exhibitors are expected to attend this prestige event which starts from March 15-18
